I'd like to begin this essay by paying tribute to a man who, indirectly through me, changed thousands of lives, including mine.
Gerald (Jerry) Kein was my mentor and the founder of an internationally recognized school of hypnosis and hypnotherapy.
Years ago, I was looking for a hypnosis school to expand my knowledge when I accidentally came across Gerald. Until Jerry introduced me to hypnotherapy, the majority of my knowledge of hypnosis came from stage hypnosis performances.
In the field of hypnosis, Jerry was a pioneer who developed one of the top educational programs for aspiring hypnotherapists. He, too, had been a stage hypnotist before switching to hypnotherapy.
In recent years, he lived and worked in DeLand, Florida, where I also completed his education. He was a man of small stature, but confident at every step, which was also felt in his lectures.
He added the right amount of humor, for which he was known, to each lecture. But he didn't use mysticism or other heavy materials when he lectured, which is why I liked them. Pure hypnotherapy.
Students who graduated from his school work as hypnotists or as instructors practically all over the world.
Jerry, we appreciate everything you've done for us. Wherever you go, I hope your journey is enjoyable.
